Mikrobiokosmos 2025 and Twinn4MicroUp Satellite Symposium: Celebrating Microbial Science and Collaboration
The Mikrobiokosmos Conference 2025 in Thessaloniki gathered scientists, students, and industry to explore advances in microbiology and biotechnology. As part of the event, the Twinn4MicroUp project and ISME hosted a satellite symposium on career development and funding, offering early-career researchers insights into lab culture, teaching, ERC opportunities, and career paths.

The TwInn4MicroUp project is delighted to share its participation in the BioRef Winter School 2025, held from February 24 to February 28, 2025, at the Cracow University of Technology (PK), Poland. This event was organized as part of the BioRef Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s degree, and brought together leading experts and students to explore advancements in biorefinery, biotechnology, and sustainability. Our team contributed with insightful lectures on biocatalysis and enzyme-based plastic waste valorization, reinforcing TwInn4MicroUp’s commitment to synthetic microbial biotechnology and circular economy solutions.
