TwInn4MicroUp Strengthens Collaboration Through Networking Meetings with BIO4PAK and SATISPHACTION

January 30, 2026

As part of its commitment to strengthening collaboration within the European research and innovation ecosystem, the TwInn4MicroUp IMGGE team organized two online networking meetings with the Horizon Europe projects BIO4PAK and SATISPHACTION.

The meetings brought together researchers and project representatives to exchange experiences, present ongoing research activities, and discuss complementary expertise in the fields of microbial biotechnology, polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) production, sustainable materials, and plastic upcycling. During the discussions, participants introduced the objectives and progress of their projects, highlighting innovative approaches to developing bio-based and circular solutions for reducing plastic waste. These meetings provided an excellent opportunity to identify common research interests and explore possibilities for future collaboration, including joint research initiatives, knowledge exchange activities, and participation in upcoming European funding opportunities.

By promoting connections with projects addressing similar scientific and technological challenges, TwInn4MicroUp continues to expand its collaborative network and contribute to the development of innovative microbial platforms and sustainable biotechnological solutions aligned with the principles of the circular economy.
