Fundamental Project Management Skills Workshop

October 15, 2024

During our first workshop, 12 researchers from NTUA, IMGGE, UNIBA, and TUS explored advanced project management techniques and collaborative research strategies, enhancing their management skills and exchanging knowledge, experiences, and ideas. This lively interactive online workshop helped participants identify potential improvements in the way their projects are organized and gave them valuable insights and tips for efficient and timely coordination.

The EcoPlastiC project, which focuses on sustainable and eco-friendly solutions for plastic production and recycling, was selected as the case study for this workshop, since it aligns perfectly with the TwInn4MicroUp mission.

The workshop was led by Dr. Deasún Ó Conchúir, an internationally acclaimed Project Management Consultant and Academic, with decades of global experience. Dr. Ó Conchúir delivered invaluable training on best practices in project management tailored to collaborative research environments. His expertise added a unique perspective, ensuring that attendees not only advanced their scientific knowledge but also enhanced their ability to manage complex, interdisciplinary projects.

This workshop marked an important step in strengthening the bonds between partner institutions and empowering researchers to drive innovation. It underscores our commitment to building a vibrant community of scientists fully equipped to tackle global challenges in sustainable biotechnology.

Stay tuned for more events and opportunities as we continue to bridge boundaries, nurture collaboration, and push the frontiers of science.
