The TwInn4MicroUp consortium convened in Belgrade for its Year 2 Annual Meeting, jointly with EcoPlastiC, to review advances in microbial plastic upcycling, exchange knowledge on synthetic biology and bioproducts, strengthen European collaborations, and plan innovation and outreach activities.
This September, the TwInn4MicroUp project will actively participate in the Joint Mikrobiokosmos & CEESME Conference in Thessaloniki (22-24/09/2025), contributing a satellite symposium dedicated to supporting and inspiring early-career researchers in the field of Biotechnology and beyond.
Between 18th and 20th of July, members of the Twinn4MicroUp consortium took part in iGEM Fest 2025, a three-day event hosted by the iGEM Athens student team under the theme “iGEMed: Synthetic Biology and Interdisciplinary Science.” Through expert talks, student workshops, and interdisciplinary dialogue, the event offered a vibrant space for learning, exchange, and scientific inspiration.
